Symbols of the Unconscious is a collaborative game based on concepts from Psychology
Jungian dream analysis, such as the study of Alchemical Phases, the concepts of active imagination and symbolic amplification, among others. This is not a dream interpretation game, but rather a therapeutic tool that uses knowledge from the study of dreams to support the elaboration of a Life Theme brought to the Game.
Because it is collaborative and therapeutic, the Symbols of the Unconscious Game works through the dynamics of exchanges and sharing of the Collective Unconscious, involving players in a projective and collective dynamic of card interpretation. When entering the Symbols of the Unconscious Game, we invite you to strip away your conventional and rationalized perspective and accept a different flow, with a wisdom that has elements based on the Collective Unconscious and that can guide your paths towards a journey of self-knowledge.
OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the Symbols of the Unconscious Game is to expand the
awareness of players about a Life Theme that represents a challenge for the person. The Life Theme can be a challenging issue for the moment, a situation that caused pain, or a decision to be made.
The Symbols of the Unconscious Game can help integrate emotional and psychological processes related to the chosen life theme, and support decision-making or clarify some internal directions regarding life situations and contexts. The Game brings out unconscious content about the theme in question, becoming a tool that allows our self, as an internal guide, to guide us in a therapeutic way.
