THE GAME
Symbols of the Unconscious is a therapeutic Game developed from Jungian Psychology concepts related to dream interpretation, such as Alchemical Stages, Active Imagination, and Symbolic Amplification. It is the result of years of academic research and clinical practice.
The Game can be used by individuals who are willing to complete the Training and become facilitators of processes for expanding consciousness and self-discovery. The tool’s objective is to provide reflections on a Life Theme brought to the game in each session, aiding in the integration of psychological processes and symbolic amplification related to this theme, while supporting decision-making.
THE IDEALIZER
Clarissa De Franco has been a psychologist for 20 years. She holds a PhD in Psychology and a PhD in Religious Studies, with Post-doctoral research in Gender Studies and in Human and Social Sciences. She is currently pursuing an additional Post-doctorate in Jungian Clinical Psychology.
She is a graduate professor, therapist, and dream analyst with a YouTube channel dedicated to the subject: youtube.com/claristica. She is also a Tarot reader and a facilitator of non-binary sacred groups. As a researcher and activist in the LGBTQIAPN+ and feminist movements, she has published books and articles at the intersection of Science and Esotericism, as well as Jungian Psychology, Spirituality, Gender, and Human Rights.
Clarissa is conducting Post-doctoral research in Jungian Clinical Psychology at PUC/SP, applying the game Symbols of the Unconscious as both a therapeutic and research tool with Jungian therapists, providing a scientific foundation for the technique.
She is the mother of Dani and Léo, two dear teenagers, and she loves cards and mandalas, maintaining a collection of Tarot decks.
