Symbols of the Unconscious is a collaborative game based on Jungian Psychology concepts regarding dream analysis, such as the study of Alchemical Stages, the concepts of active imagination and symbolic amplification, among others. It is not a dream interpretation game, but rather a therapeutic tool that utilizes knowledge from dream studies to support the working through of a Life Theme brought to the Game.
As a collaborative and therapeutic experience, the game Symbols of the Unconscious operates through the dynamics of exchange and sharing within the Collective Unconscious, engaging players in a projective and collective process of card interpretation. Upon entering Symbols of the Unconscious, we invite you to shed your conventional and rationalized perspective and embrace a different flow, guided by a wisdom rooted in the Collective Unconscious that can lead your path toward a journey of self-discovery.
GOAL
The primary objective of the game Symbols of the Unconscious is to expand the players' awareness regarding a Life Theme that represents a challenge for them. The Life Theme can be a challenging issue for the present moment, a situation that has caused pain, or a decision that needs to be made.
The game Symbols of the Unconscious can assist in the integration of emotional and psychological processes related to the chosen Life Theme, and support decision-making or clarify inner directions regarding life situations and contexts. The game brings forth unconscious content about the theme in question, becoming a tool that allows our Self, as an internal guide, to lead us in a therapeutic way
